I was following the audi zine FAQ to seafoaming a 2.8l a4, and I disconnected the correct vacuum line. However, there was no vacuum, and the straw I connected had absolutly no suction.

whats wrong here?

Use the nipple coming off of the top of the suction pump, just to the left of the one you tried. I was able to get suction from it when the other one failed.
