my 12v will rock any honda in cornering, and it actually walks all over my wrx in the corners as well...

and i didnt mean for that post to be funny, but honestly it happens quite often, its really funny.

the best part is when people get road rage and try to pull up next to me and yell at me, they get this look of stupidity on there face cuz they realize theyre staring at nothing but a black walll...oh man, im inside my car laughing so hard. im actually laughing right now thinking of some past incidents.

 

ya dude some good info is that its by far the nicest setup in my town, lol. everyone who thinks they have the sickest system gets in my car and pretty much pisses there pants. lol.

the clarity of the lyrics is sooooooooooooo nice. the subs pound INSANELY HARD, and they still have the clarity of 10" subs, which is very nice.

the whole thing cost me $2k (free installation). I have to get a cap installed tho cuz it drains my battery so fast and than the battery doesnt have enough power to power the sound system so it gets all muffled if i bump it at max volume for more than 10 minutes, which kinda blows. plus i dont like watching my headlights and all my dashlights flicker at night everytime my subs hit.

the amp bench power is like 1556 watts, so it puts out more power than its rated, which is a huge difference in how hard the subs hit.. some kid i know had two type R 12's, and my subs blew his out of the water, obviously, simply because I had my subs putting out a lot more power than his cuz his amp just couldnt do the job.

 

 

hahahah this is the truest post I've seen in a long time.... but I DID just roast a ricer honda on the freeway just a little bit ago, then he did the typical ricer-fly-by and flipped me off. Some 18 year old kid. I guess he was jsut pissed he got roasted by a 12V 4400lb car ahhahahaha.

bah its ok but there are better but one thing is for sure the alpine type r subs are friggin sweet i love them but for the price you can get many other things just as good

 

ya mine isnt really a show car, but my trunk space is limited. I bolted my box as much to one side of the trunk as possible, but i dont have much room... my back seat is where my stuff goes.

some mexican pulled up next to me like a month ago with a "system" in his truck and my volume was at 22 (max is 35) and he said my system sounded really nice and asked what i was "runnin", lol, when i told him two 10's he chuckled like it was nothing, he asked me to bump it and so i threw on #2 off of chamillionaires new album (which bumps freakin hard)...haha you should have seen his face, it was like he had never seen anything like it, he just drove off knowing if he "bumped his system" i wouldnt even be able to hear it.

but i highly recommend 10" alpine type R's, only if powered right, and the boston acoustics, oh man, they make me drool. the kenwoods are very nice as well... my friends say when there next to me at a stop light it sounds really nice, and not just annoying subs trying to sound tight.

when i left the audio store i asked how high i could turn my volume without blowing anything, and when they replied "as high as the deck will go" i knew i was in for a treat. lol

and i love my little rockford bass ****, lol
