So am I better off getting an A3 if i still want the nice looks but have more ability to mod?

 

no and a4 with a 1.8t or 2.0t thats where the powers at

 

Buy the 3.0 and save up and buy a supercharger. 1.8 with all the mods and the other crap you need to make the thing stable will run you around the same price. Now, flamers, hold up a second. This is what i was told when i was asking the same thing. I Love my 3.0 it's reliable and im not a 'modder' per-se. I do respect all my m3 friends (but dont'tt have 50k plus) and g35 friends that have fast and furious cars but for me; Rims, great choice and painted lowers or body kits are also great choices for 'big upping' myself in my 3.0... but if you want a 'fast' audi save your money and get an 's' series or an 'rs' series or... flame on, get that new sexy bmw 3 series with 300+ horses. or perhaps a Volvo R type, they come in both the s60 or v70 (wagon) and come with 304 horses i do believe. If i were you id get to a place where i could find a Delorean and flux capacitor that thing or buy a muscle car and play 'more than a feeling' while cruising high schools... But im not, and i like wagons so i bought a 3.0 a4 avant and boy do i neither feel fast nor furious but i can put mad amounts of groceries in that thing.
