Well the ones I got from VVME arent just bulbs, they have like 3 connections running off of them that need to be hooked up inside the headlight. Sounds pretty plug and play, but there is no visible way of getting inside the headlightto the connections without taking some type of plate off...which is why I need that damn tool. I know where to find em,I just work too damn much.

Am I missing something? If you already have HID headlights, why did you buy something from VVME? All you need are new bulbs that are 6000k, which you can buy many places for cheaper than you paid VVME. Also, 4300 - 6000 or anything for that matter isnt' really an upgrade, just differant heat range. 4300 has better visibility than 6000, so if anything, going from 4300k to 6000k is a downgrade.

I am VERY well aware that 6000k is not technically an 'upgrade', but I wanted a new look, just personal preference, ya know? As far as you missing something, don't know what it could be. I did not know that I could find anything cheaper than VVME, plus, they were a gift, so no cost to me.

I'm fully aware of why you want the 6000k bulbs.. I'm just making sure you know it's a downgrade in terms of visibility.. but now that that is out of the way, you should be good to go! Your question has been answered already.

ORIGINAL: Lazer Viking

take old bulb out... put new bulb in, put everything back together
The VVME kit has nothing to do with anything. And unless you have another car you want to convert or turn your fog lights into HID, the gift is of no use to you.. and you should just buy bulbs at an auto parts store and sell the kit as never used.

Well that blows. I'm gonna head to an auto parts store after work and figure stuff out.
