Upper radiator hose won't stay on!!!!!!!!
I just installed the timing belt kit today and i was driving around just before and as i was pulling into my driveway alot of smoke started coming out of the engine bay and engine coolant was everywhere and i saw the hose was off and i can't get it to stay on. I see how its supposed to go on but i can't slide it far enough for it to lock on.

It locks on, should not be to hard to do.
Did you have trouble taking it off? Maybe you broke it when you removed it? It should slide on and lock, fairly easy to get it on there.
Try to get it on there, and pull on it to make sure its on good before you drive again. Mines hard plastic, so a clamp wont do much good..

Did you lose the metal clip or something?
there is a metal clip you lift up to remove it.
To re-install, you just need to push the clip back down, then slide the end on until it clips back on.
I guess you could try to leave the metal clip pulled up, slide the hose end back on to the rad, then push the metal clip back down, hopefully locking it back on.
the pull on it and make sure its secure.
Does this all make sense, are you following me here?
Good luck.

yeah like i said i see how it's sopposed to go on but i can't get it far enough for the metal clip to hold it on there properly. I looked at everything and i don't see anything broken or any thing wrong. Everything went so smooth with the tb install today and now this. I'm so pissed.

RE: Upper radiator hose won't stay on!!!!!!!!
I just cant imagine what is restricting it from going on and locking.
I am trying to imaging how this could be.....broken inside the plastic end? where the clip sildes down the grooves? or worn metal bumps on the radiator end? it just isn't computing for me......
Can you shine a light down the plastic hose end, and see if it looks normal?
Is it hitting something that keeps it from going in further?
I am not sure, its usually a very easy slide it on and it locks deal.
