No, you need g12 coolant, its different stuff. Also called "pentosin"

how low are you? Just add water to get it up to level, and go get some tomorrow. (As long as your not out in BFE and have to drive 50 miles or something!!!)

i drove about 1/16 of a mile spilling coolant and there is none in the reservoir. Will it be alright to fill it with water and drive 21 miles to work?

See how much it takes to fill it back up. If more than just the resevoir, then you might not want to chance it. IDK, anyone else out there have a good idea?

I would say if you have to put in more than a gallon of water, then I wouldn't be too sure. In that case, you may want to get the coolant first before driving that far.

But, I would be driving to the parts shop asap to get coolant and get things right. Its usally a 50/50 mix of coolant and water anyway, so see how low it really is.
