Does anyone know a good audi mechanics anywhere around central NJ (anywhere in NJ is also fine). ?

I have a 99.5 Audi A4 with 98K miles. Need to get the my timing belt changed. I don't want to spend a couple of grands at the dealer.

I have been using this guy in plainfield who has been pretty good so far. I got axle boots, windshield wiper tank, tie rods fixed by him so far. Unfortunately I have had to go back to him a couple more times because the windshield wiper tank still leaks.

Not sure if I want to do the timing belt change with him. His estimate was $800 including wanter tank.

There is a really good mechanic in Newark NJ. I don't know if you want to go that far though.

 

Mine was just under $700. They work in the back of a Euro dealership and do great work. They will only work on what you tell them to and will call if there's anything they think you should know about. Dropped mine off the day after I called at 8 and it was done by 12.
