Vac lines and engine performance
I had another vac line replaced under warranty the other day. My car drives great now! In chipped mode, I am back to getting great, smooth acceleration. Actually, I did not realize there was a problem -- I figured I had just gotten too used to chipped mode and that maybe the performance was not great to begin with. But what you guys said in another thread was true, a failed vac line must really hurt performance.
Question -- does driving in chipped mode especially with hard accelerations destroy the vac lines, or were those going to fail with age anyway? I have 66k miles.

Don't know the name of it...a few months ago they replaced the vac lines I could see near top of engine. Apparently this was a different one that hand't been replaced yet...they said it was practically disintegrated. Check engine light.
