Default Vaccum Line Picture anyone...

HELP! I need a picture of a 1.8T vaccum line so I can do a Seafoam application in my engine. Does anyone know where I can see a picture of this to locate it in my engine? I have an 01' B5 A4.

Thank you,
General Jackson

clconversion - Thank you for the reply. I'll pop my hood and see if I can find that braided belt. Is there just one in there back by the fire wall?

Thank you,
General Jackson

Thanks CL -

I'll take a look when I leave work in a few minutes. Sorry to be so ignorant to this stuff. I'm not completly clueless, but damn close. Any other landmarks in the engine that this little braided hose is next to?

Thank you,
General

I'm not sure where that is. But, when I open the hood I can see a small braided hose right in the front of the engine and then another little braided hose over by the fire wall. These are the only 2 braided hoses I see. I am assuming it's the little hose in the front of the car that your talking about. I should not have to remove my plastic engine cover to do this, right?

Sorry for the trouble - thank you!

no you do not have to remove the engine cover the one at the front goes to the silver part (intake manifold that has 4 different ports going into each cylinder sorry for any confusion

Ok, so I think we are talking about the same thing. But, the little braided hose doesn't have a clamp on it. One side seems to go into a black opening and the other end goes into a silver/metal opening. I guess I am supposed to feed the Seafoam into the little metal opening.
