Default vaccum line question

JMG said that the blue line is the line he used for his boost guage, i was told to use the line highlighted in red for mine, will either work? and where is his blue line going to?

i suppose ill go to the closer one for ease...

I was just about to do this myself. The line with the red stripe is going to the fuel pressure regulator, I am not comfortable cutting into this one so I will probably not use this spot.
Im not sure where the line that the blue vacuum hose is running to goes. On my engine that vacuum line runs under the cover to the left rather than back under the manifold, I have a 99. I was going to use that line also, like in the pic. I thought that one went somewhere around the wastegate but not sure, I havent looked closely yet. Can anyone confirm?

Theres one going of the manifold to the bypass valve, I think thats the clostest one to wastegate.

well i went w/ the one that goes from manifold to FPR, as Overspun from AZ told me to.

but i have alot of vaccum, and when im not agressive on the gas, im in a vaccum, is this right or does my guage need to be zerod, when the car is off the guage reads zero, which leads me to believe it is zerod and thats how it will read

Tie into the black vacuum line coming directly off of your dv or bov

i allready went to the FPR line, works fine, no leaks, 5-10lbs boost, in most cases its 5, but will rise to 10 at lower RPMs to compensate, then it drops to about 5 at higher RPMs

the place that the blue line goes to is conectected to the manifold, brake booster and the inlet from the gas tank vent..
I used the one thats highlighted in red some people say to use the one right on the front of the manifold that David was talkin about to your DV

Yeah vacuum is good when Idleing I get like 20-25 under idle vacuum is cause by the engine sucking air in and the air being restricted by the partialy closed throtle body vacuum=good gas mileage while driving
