Hey all,

I have an A4 quattro 1.8t, and am having some issues with vacuum lines. There is a small vacuum line coming off of the intake manifold. This line, on my car, is not connected to anything at all, just laying there. I looked for where it should go, to no avail. Any ideas on where this hose is supposed to go to?

By the way, its not the line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator, that one is connected. the other small line is not, on the other side of the manifold

 

Year? Have you had the car long? Thinking it might be the left overs from a previous owner that yanked their boost gauge before they sold it to you?

I've had it around 3 months now, 2001 audi a4 quattro 1.8t. Here is a pic, and its the only vacuum line I see that looks out of place / bad.

 

Any insight on this would be much appreciated. This hose is causing a major power loss for me, and I have no idea if I can just simply plug it, or if it needs to be going to something.
