Default VAG/ 35 Central locks

99 A4, 35 Central locks,I can not open the controler with VAG as it does not respond.

Vacuum pump in trunkactuates every time a door or trunk lid is closed and I have no control over the locks.

I can access other ports but this one will not...does this mean the module needs to be replaced and where is it located?

I've done a block test to the doors and when each one is opened the value does change so I think the door sensors are okay.

Also I found the pump in the trunk laying free in the rear quarter...where does it mount?

[/ul] Note: If the vehicle has not been used for a long period, or if the pump has been replaced, the central locking system has to be actuated several times before it will operate properly. If the system is intact, all locks must be locked after approx. 2 seconds. If the pump runs for more than 5 seconds, there is a leak in the system. If the system is leaking, the pump must not run for more than 30 seconds before the control unit in the central locking system pump switches the pump off. All actuators have special connectors, which should engage positively when fitted.
