Alright i know you can get codes/clear codes and that you can control sertain engine modules with vag-com. but can you use it to change your Lambda setting or your boost. COnsidering both are controled through the ecu i didnt know if Vag-com could over-ride there current settings.

the only thing you can do is get a program called lemmiwinks and change the fuel and timing, thats only if you are DBW though

Modded as in chip or modded as in parts. cause parts dont matter the ecu controls all the functions of the car from lambda to boost to idle speed etc... if you can access it you can change and as long as you know what your doing you'll be fine. Not that i know what im doing but you just adjust in small increments to see what it does and if its bad you put it back. i know i can remap over the ecu but i was looking for more of live action control

Yeah, but you have no idea what the long term effects of the adjustments you make may have on on the vehicle and its components.

I wouldn't mess around much unless you are a true expert.

but if you were, you wouldn't be asking the question.

thats why we buy modified ecu's, they have been somewhat tested and the changes were made by experts.

All i really want to change is my boost and lambda and advance the timing slightly. its the exact same thing that chip is doing
