Well, in Seattle, I will have a lockable garrage at the house, and during the day, and I will be parking on a secured Coast Guard base. That covers most of the time... But is is very easy to take off of the slide mount, and detach the one cable going to the unit. Then, I can just lock it in the glvoe box with my iPod, and I'm good to go...

One of the reason's I have Full Coverage Insurance, with these item's specifically reported to my insurance company. I pay about 2 bucks a month extra for "Car Personal Property" insurance.

Looks great but maybe too much work for me! LOL. I'll just plug it into the lighter.

They offer excellent detection of X/K/Ka/Laser at amazing ranges (if not the BEST), and they have directional arrows, so you know where the radar is coming from... It also has a "Counter" so you know how many police are up ahead, beside, or behind you... The new model also covers 'POP' band radar, which uses "Instant On" technology to nab speeders...

It's the most expensive radar detector on the market, but I'm very happy with my decision.

Beautiful setup sir, may I ask where and how much that V1 cost. I have spent well over 1 grand in speeding tickets, you would have thought I would have jsut bought one fromt he get go.. I will most likely be doing the same instal when I purchase mine as I hate having random wires and bullshit stuck to my windshield.

Wow... That's quite a bit for a radar detector. Although I remember reading in one of their advertisements "If you get a ticket, we'll pay for it!"

Are they still doing this?

Anyway, the installation looks DAMN clean Karl Marx, I'm very impressed with it.
