Default valeo e-codes.... aiming/adjusting help

hey everyone... could use some help from all the knowlegeable ppl in these forums...

i have a set of valeo e-codes in my B5 A4.... and were originally just halogen. this past weekend I had an HID kit put in so now i am running xenons....

they look great, bright as hell.... but it looks like the left one is aimed higher than the right. also, this is the light pattern i am getting:

_____ ___
\ \

is the light cutoff really supposed to be like that? not sure if i am explaining it well enough but when i pull up to another car or something this is how the pattern between the left and right lights (kind of overlapped)... and maybe i'm not looking hard enough but i don't see the cutoff on the left side of the driver's side light. if someone can shed some light on how I can properly adjust these it would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!

The level indicators in my headlights show them both to be level and even, and my driver's side light is higher than my passenger light as well. This may be intentional from Audi.

thanks for the quick reply.... do u have to stock headlights in or the same e-codes?

i've done some research on saw on some other pages that the light output should be ___/___/

however, the light output on my current setup is ~~~\~~~\ (sorry, no line found on keyboard for that) so it looks like its upside down or something.... any ideas?

I have factory headlights (early reflector style). The reference you made to the light pattern being __/ __/ is what I've usually seen in cars here - they're biased to the right so as not to blind oncoming traffic. Unfortunately I'm not really sure why yours drop away - it could just be a characteristic of the Valeos but I don't know for sure since I don't have them - hopefully someone else who has them will chime in and take it up.
