Soooo our cars have Vtec?

I dont really mean Vtec, I was just unaware that our cars had vvt. Neat

All audi engines from 97 and on have variable valve timing on the intake and exhaust.
Thats why there is a chain between both cams and a hydraulic tensioner adjusting both cams.

Actually the 01+ 1.8t's have vvt and it comes with wideband o2 sensor. All the narrow band 1.8t's '00 and older dont have vvt. Before people think its cool and like vtec or vvt-i like honda/toyota and is a power adder, its not. Its only used at start up and for emissions.... sorry.

Of course it doesn't increase the power output, that issomething that should be put in the ricer section.
