You seem to have the A4 confused for a performance sedan, which it is not. The S4 is performance.

im 21 not 16 you didnt know that.my buddy prob spent maybe 7G or 8G he runs 12's i think it takes like 12g for an audi to run low 12's i can get the spec on that for you but besides that i did not pay for my car was given to me.
Wrong again! Must be a rough week for you. You can hit low 12's with about $6K in an audi. It also doesn't help that you picked the worst model b5..no offense to anyone else but did you honestly expect a v6 fwd to be fast? Maybe faster than quattro from a roll but from a dig forget it.

Urbamworm, not sure where you got all ur info, but stock chipped A4s can run high 14s. The chips take 1 to 1.5 sec of your 1/4 depending on your skills. The reason there slow in stock form is becuase they are severely detuned, thats why you can add 50hp with no mods.
I have done some research but not butt loads but everyone I have talked to or all posts I looked at listed 1/4 times in that range thats why I say that. And You wouldnt happen to be talking about the top stage chip (ie with new injectors as well would you because that would be a different story) And besides we are still talking a chipped vs a stock car. Hondata reflash that gsr and its over. And I totally agree that the car is probably detuned because just about all cars are because thats not what the manufacture intended when they produced it they wanted it to be reliable. For example the rsx type s goes from 160 at the wheels to 180 at the wheels with a hondata reflash and add an intake and intake manifold gasket and your at 195 at the wheels and running a 14 flat 1/4 mile cost $850.

Ok sorry to say but your wrong see I would know this because I own one. I dont have any stock time slips but you can go look at dragtimes.com and there are some listed there with only intake others with intake and exhaust running 14.9-15.1 And hatchbacks with gsr motors run 14's with no work. You gotta trust me on this I used to be hard core into honda/acura tuning before I went to college and gave it up.

One question. Where in "Luxury Sedan" does it say This vehicle, bone stock, is supposed to be a racing machine? There's your luxury model, the A4, and then there's your performance model, the S4. Same goes for BMW. You've got your 325i (Which is more similiar to what you're driving), and you've got your BMW M3, which is an absolute, straight up, face-ripping machine that was meant to go fast, much unlike the BMW 325i, or in your case, the Audi A4.

In my opinion, if you had never taken your car to the track and pitted it against a tuned Honda, you would still be perfectly content with driving your Audi. Perhaps when you get beat for the first time in your Honda, you'll want to go out and purchase the same vehicle that beat you, just as you did when you had that beautiful A4 and sold it for a rice machine, simply because one beat you.

Good day.

I agree with this... there is always something bigger and better out there.
