Hey thanks guys. Does anyone know what the difference would be between 6k and 8k in snowing conditions? Other than the fact that 8k's have a little less output.

if anything the 8K might actually be better because there's less light output, as crazy as that sounds... but yeah there might be marginally less glare with 8K. I don't think it'd be enough of a difference to make you want to go one way or another though.

Does anybody have any tips for adjusting the lights? I think im just going to loosen up the headlight and then maybe stick some foam under the headlight to raise them.... Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Okay, well, I've had my VVME HIDs for a few days now and have had a chance to evaluate them. I got the 4300K kit. I'm not really impressed. I've had two other cars had HIDs, one had them from the factory and one had a kit like this. The factory HIDs were amazing, tons of pure white light, no blue, very homogenous color. The kit I chose for my last car was a 6000K kit and again the color was quite white and very homogenous. Now, this VVME kit is strange...I can see different colors from the light on the road in front of me...and there are parts of the beam pattern that are absolutely turquoise. I almost think that my 6000K kit was WHITER than the 4300K kit from VVME.com.

This thread does show however that people who have bought the 6000K kit are quite pleased with it, so if you're thinking about it, go with 6000K from VVME. Unfortunately, I kind of think it comes down to you get what you pay for. VVME is super cheap and I love that. But if I had to do it again, I would go with the local guy I bought the last kit from...it would have been $130 as opposed to $92, but I think it would have been worth the higher quality. And since xenon bulbs take forever to burn out, it's going to be a long time before I replace them with some better ones.

Anyway, for your consideration.

But you have halogen head lamps, and not projectors. That has a lot to do with it. And maybe its just me.. .But, when I turn my lights on they are bluish, andafter about 3 minutes they are pure white. You need to get yourself some one piece headlights. I still need to get pics. But maybe they did send you the wrong bulb temp? Idk.

Oh, I thought you were saying that yours were always bluish...you didn't mention that they got better after warming up.

And yeah, I definitely need to get some projectors. It's weird how hard they are to find around here...in the salvage yards, that is...I mean, Houston is HUGE, how can there not be any wrecked A4s with usable projector headlights? If I were a millionaire, things would be much easier.
