also, what if its not a full rotation? What if the marker on the camshaft is at 11 o-clock, cant i just crank it a little more to the 12 o-clock TDC position?

 

using a dremmil or some sort of grinding tool will be the best because the snub will be a bit to hard to successfully hack at it with a razorblade. ull be surprised how much tougher it is than stock. just grind it away to where there is about 3-5mms at the top and bottom, that should eliminate most of ur vibrations.
