Hey all,
Apart from my shaking problem I have, that occurs once in awhile, I hear a squeeking noise that comes from my tires while driving slow.
I figure its the brakes and rotors. If you guys think its something else, please post.
Anyway I was wondering should I go to AUDI and let them put brakes and rotors in or polish the old rotors or should I just go to any mechanic shop, because I dont think that it differs too much to put brakes in a AUDI than any other car.
Also I am not looking to go HIGH END on pads, shoes or rotors. I am just looking for something decent. Please post any recommendations on any brake pads/shoes and rotors please.
BTW..my car is an 99 AUDI 2.8 Quattro. 148KMS

Possibly some zimmerman rotors or some ECS rotors from ECSTuning.com. Keep in mind if you are looking at slotted or drilled rotors that you will have more brake dust and a shorter pad life.
Hawk pads are a good upgrade.

RE: WANNA PUT NEW BRAKES WHAT SHOULD I GET?
Not sure if you need front or rear.
I recall ECS having replacement rears for about 30 bucks each. Not much more expensive than having the old ones turned.
