dont know much about cars, i have a 2004 2.7t s line looking for a giac or something

dont wanna spend more than 1k, anyone know a website where i can order one and how i can install it with minimal experience?

hmm, does make a sence, go for chip for 2.8 ???? Give just 6-9 hp and 6-9 lb/tq

 

He has a 2.7t, he will be gaining approx 80 and 80.

 

tried searching??? i just searched and found so much info ... giac or apr

apr is a little less aggressive then giac

or take it to vast performance ... they write custom files ... they did a nice 4.2 which no companies do

i have thier stage three TCU file and also giac xchip

 

The only thing you will really notice that is changed will be the torque at low end. Def go with Vast/GIAC, GIAC had to write me a custom file ... EIther way Vast use to get products from GIAC aka Vast prob just stole GIAC's files and started making them. How they got the stage3 tipchip and there "advanced" race file. Ohh Vast undercuts GIAC but either way you will have a great product. What ever you do don't go with APR!!! I started out with the APR chip and just basiclly wasted my money... They charge more for each stage and really only want it there way.

 

I got the GIAC on my 2.7T and its the best thing I ever did to my car. Its got way more torque now and the way faster. I heard APR is not bad either.

I don't think its a chip as such because the car is too new more of a software reprogramming or flashing as its called chipping was used on the older cars where the chip could be replaced or piggy backed with a programmed performance chip, there are some plug in electronic devices that boost power
