running 100% atmosphere is bad for the engine, it can make it run too rich and mess up the Cat. i got the splitter valve and it gives you the ppssshhh sound but doesnt harm the engine...

U should just get the carbonio cai i just got it about a month ago and it is worth the money and is easy to install and will not get wet at all if installed correctly because the carbon fiber cover sits under the wether stripping. and it makes the car a lot louder because u cant hear the stock dv and the intake sucking in everything in its path.
