So i was thinking of getting a Carbonio CAI but thats too expensive.
The only thing i want out of anything i buy is the BOV noise
Whats the cheapest alternative besides spending XXX amount of money for a Carbonio CAI
I dont want to risk getting water in the intake by doing the Air Box DIY.
What can i buy to just get the noise??
Not that I was going for the noise but mine makes the noise because of my intake. Why would you want that if you have nothing to back itup...ricer or not if your car makes"cool or loud" sounds and then I smoke the s@!$ out ofyou I will call you a loser. If you do the same and then kick my a## then you geta thumbs up. My point is go for the powerand if the "cool sounds" come with it than more power toya. Dont be a poser

Evenonepoint8tee's car makes woshhhh sound in these days
Not anymore! Im 100% recirc again.
yeah..sure... I saw the evidence yesterday [:-].... and I know you race with hondas after 1:00 am ....
1 am is when I slap on the magnetic Type R stickers, neons, etc. Revert to 100% vta and go civic hunting. It is my curse [sm=badbadbad.gif]
I went civic hunting the other day and ended up racing 2 chipped GTIs...I held my own. We ran about even. I love cruising for that stuff

Well i want and intake too but i was just seeing if there were any alternatives to the intake, because i've heard intakes dont do much on B6's, because the stock airbox is already extermely efficient.

Borg Warner K04
GIAC FXK04 software
OEM Dual Side Mount InterCooler(DSMIC)
Crucial Racing PP&C Exhaust Manifold
Labree Motorsport 300 Cell High Flow Catalytic Converter
Milltek Downpipe (2.5â€)
Custom 2.5" Single Outlet Exhaust
Forge 007 Bypass Valve
OEM S4 Motor Mounts
APR Snub Mount

H&R Sport Springs
Koni Sport Shocks
Neuspeed Short Shifter
ECS OEM Big Brake Kit w/ 2 piece rotors
South Bend Clutch
Podi Gauge Pod and VEI Digital Boost Gauge

Haha well you have a good point. But aren't i right with the already efficient airbox? Why would i spend 400 on a carbonio when i can spend 150 on something that will do just as much.
Although the carbonio is pretty sick looking..

an intake actually worth something, and its only ~$150

you get the velocity stack anda k&n filter for it and your golden. better flow than the box/cai and still far cheaper.

if what you have works dont change it...if it doesnt make the sound that you want than change it. Whatever your priority is. I guess we are just arguing opinion at this point.
