So I had some free time on my hands today and went ahead and painted the lowers and gave her a good wash and wax

sweet headlights, are those 8000k? what system you running for the headlights?

 

actually the headlights are 10000k, and I forgot the brand...

 

looks great, maybe its just cause that the lowers are painted but it looks lowered, is it? Where did you get the supplies. One of these days I gotta do that.

 

nope, its sitting on stock sport suspension. but I agree it definetly looks lower with the lowers painted compared to the black lowers. I picked up the supplies at the local autozone...adhesion promoter, filler primer, duplicolor silver, and finished it off with some duplicolor clearcoat. It was a simple project took around 3-4 hours to complete but the key is to take you time

 

those lights look like a cop is coming, in NYC i would get a ticket as soon as i turn them on......

 

haha dont worry ive been pulled over numerous times for my headlights and clear blinkers...I had to resort back to the amber blinkers so i wouldnt get pulled but I still do and now its kind of easier to play it off like they are stock audi hids. but they do draw alot of attention from people...especially the police

hell yes, painted lowers on light cars looks awsome, and why do you get pulled over for headlights? is there some bullshit about that stuff
