Wash, Wax, Painted Lowers
so, you just went ahead and painted them yourself with some random silver paint from autozone? Does it match very well, or look like crap when youre up close? Ill prolly do this myself on my b6 if all it takes is paint from autozone...
Dupli-Color paints are supposed to match your cars paint color. They dont have all colors for all makes and models. I had used Dupli-Color for a grill insert on my old civic. The match was pretty decent, and for the price you pay, you really cant beat it. I am not so sure if I would use Dupli-Color to paint the lowers on my B6 Avant, (unless I was strapped for cash and absolutely had to have it done) or if they even have my color. However if I had a small part to paint I would do it no question.
Just like any other paint project the quality in the end will be a direct result of the prep work and time that you put into it.
Your painted lowers look pretty good (at least in these pictures).
Id be curious to see how they hold up over time.

i dont understand why the cops are such ****** about the headlights...but idk. Ive been pulled over 3 times already just for the headlights and evry officer has came up to the car and said the same thing...do you know that your headlights are blue? And out of the three times ive gotton one ticket for improper color headlights and turn signals and it was a $35 fine. I can deal with a $35 fine and there is no way in hell im taking them out becuase they make night driving so much easier becuase illumination is praticly 4x more than stock.

Silver B5s (and I believe B6s also) have it lucky...we can buy our paint over the counter. Duplicolor Radiant Silver is a spot-on match.
where do I get those headlights and bulbs?????? I need new ones bad, and want to go HID and those are SICK. if you can send me a PM with where and how much you paid if possible..... and if they're the one peices..... THANKS man
Its basically a HID conversion kit, the higher the number (ex. 10000k) the bluer the light, the lower the number (ex. 6000k) the whiter the light. I'd recommend McCulloch HID they're really good quality and comes with warranty.
Very nice
Looks like you got a dece match anyways.
Headlights look killer too but im in the same boat as everyone else is saying...how the hell do you get away with those??? haha. I got pulled over in my prelude for having blue blinkers, cop threw the f'ing book @ me for everything he could get away with!
