Hey whats up first post here.. I have a 2002 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T and have had an issue for a while now... My wastegate leaks a massive amount of bosst under even part throttle.

My mods are:

awe tuning cat back, evo intake, euro code intercooler, forged motorsports b.o.v, awe tuning clutch, flywheel, apr chip 1+ big injectors

can anyone recommend a new wastegate for the stock turbo? Would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

 

The wastegate is internal to the turbo. I've seen a wastegate rebuild kit for sale but can't remember where. I thouhgt it was at ECS Tuning.,.. I looked but it wasn't there.

 

ECS carries new wastegate actuators, not rebuild kits.

Have you already checked the N75 valve to make sure that it is providing enough vacuum to keep the wastegate closed? If not, you might want to check it before doing anything to the wastegate assembly.
