Water is normal with complete combustion, mostly steam.

OWDI - 5 minutes to work is a short trip. The condensation is likely a result of the engine and exhaust system not getting up to temperature. It does not burn off all the condensation. It is normal, but you should once a week take the car out for a spirited drive to dry out the system. I am in the same situation 5 mins from work.

bad condensation in the exhaust tends to rust out the muffler a little quicker than normal.

isnt letting your car idle for that long terrible for ur engine or is that just a rumor that i heard i didnt think u should leave a car on for that long with out hurting it.....
