Default Water Leak

My A4 2.8 wagon has a water leak. Whenever it is parked on an uphill slope (my driveway) and it rains, the passenger floor gets soaked. When I found a drip it was coming from under the dash. I was thinking it would possibly be coming from the the fresh air intake for the heater. I have seen cars before that get a bnch of leaves or other crap in there so that the drain hole doesn't work so good. The other option is that is a design flaw.

Does anyone have a similar experience? Or at leat a diagram or instructions on how to get into the air intake to check it.

Oh yeah, If the car is parked on a downslope, no leaks.

Default RE: Water Leak

I had the same problem, twice.I have a 2001 A4 and I posted a message today as well (see new member forum). Though I think it was parked on the downslope both times. The dealership is telling me there's nothing they can do to prevent it. Sounds like bull to me. Here is the best solution and/or cause I have found on here. https://www.audiforums.com/m_13256/m...d/tm.htm#13622
