Default water leak

I have a 2002 A6, 3.0. 77,000 miles. We had a big rain storm the other nite and now my left rear floor area keeps getting flooded with water-especially if I accelerate quickly. Where is it coming from? Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks

Is there any stains on the headliner or any of the pillars?
I would also check by the battery, if there is standing water around the battery, then the drain under it is plugged. You need to remove the battery and blow out the drain, when its plugged water will build up and spill into the cab through body plugs and the cabin filter area. Another cause could be the sunroof drains, but there would be water stains on the headliner if that were the case.
