i am going to be purchasing a timing belt kit... and someone mentioned to make sure that the water pump has the metal impeller, not the plastic


is the plastic one bad? i plan to do it every 60k along with the belt, if the car last for another 60k, its got 190 on it now....


is it that crucial to get the metal one? are the plastic ones that bad?

If given the choice go for the one with the metal impeller.

If not the plastic ones should last 60K.
