Don't have a cost sorry, as it is still under warr. You could try a wire, but they replaced my ac drain hose and that didn't do it. My evap. box wasn't draining, they said they had to replace that too.

Glad it was under warranty

I know only too well about this problem, a tsunami of water on the passenger side....My air conditioning packed up a few weeks ago, so the water couldnt have come from there. I found that the 2 drain hoses by the battery on my 96 A4 auto were blocked, the well filled up with water and eventually came into the car, I have a bike so I dont use the car so much in the summer. I drained about 25 litres of water from the passenger side of the car, the auto gearbox ecm was destroyed (placed under the passengers feet), approx £395 + vat.

Glad I found this thread. I just got my '00 S4, and it has same problem...clear water dripping from under dash above upper left side of passenger foot rest...only when a/c on...lots of water and passenger carpet soaked. I'll be out of town for two weeks while car is in Miami with windows rolled up. I called friend to go roll down windows a few inches to air out while it sits in carport...afraid of mold!!! and rot!

It looked to be a pita to remove under dash covering. When I get home I'll try sticking wire up drain tube as suggested. Thanks to all who posted!

My 200 S4 is jacked up and I'm looking for the a/cdrain hosebut don't find it. Need to see if it is plugged so I can unplug it and stop leaking. Either that or the evap box. Can anybody help me find these?
