I got my 97TQM (stock) in F andi ran into a Ko4 turbo close by me. This guy doesnt really no to much and I asked if it was a Ko4 off of the 225 TT ..All he knows that tha turbo is off a TT 01 six speed Quattro and engine code is (ATC)....So i guess if its Quattro six speed i guess it has the Big K04 in.Also i dont see a wastsgate on it is this a problem?...And if so any particular watsgate needed...Do i need to change my manifold for the turbo? Also how can u tell if its tha k04 and not the k03 from the 180hp TT?

The engine code ATC is for the 180 hp TT. As for the wastegate, both the K-03 and the K-04 have waste gates on them stock. As for the manny, nope, you can use the stock manny with a K-04-15.

 

The ko4 of the of the tt will not bolt up.
