On the way to work this morning........
So, this morning I get into the car to go to work and the car doesn't start right away. It kinda struggles tocrank as like the battery was dying. But, if I continue and leave the key turned to try to crank it, it turns over. Volt meter reads where it should, did notice that the display on the dash would dim almost to nothing. Drove into work fine with no issues (25-30min ride 15min on highway). Now, I just left to lunch and the same thing, no cels but I did get a 4 bell chime. I assuming its the terminals to the battery or maybe thewater level is low. I haven't hadthechance to look at it yet (heckit day). The only thing I did to the car was vag the car on the weekend so I can open the windows with the remote. Any one had a similar issue? Appreciate your comments. Thanks

Sounds like the symptoms mine had before the starter went out.
I thought my battery was going, but it turned out to be the starter. One day it just stopped turning over all together.
If it does, get a multimeter and test the wires at the starter. If you're getting 12volts at the starter terminals, but no cranky-cranky, then your starter is gone.

RE: On the way to work this morning........
Ok, I got home from work and checked the battery, and it was onlyreading 6volts. It also happens to be the original battery (issued Jun 02'). I tried to start it to go to Autozone but I think it final died because it would even crank(Glad I made it home). So, I got in the backup car (87' Ford Escort) and went to get the battery. I installed the new one and wa-la, the car started. Drove it into work with no problems. Glad it wasn't the starter, wonder what that would cost me. Thanks guys
