I am currently in a battle with the Audi dealer after they replaced my fuel pump and instrument cluster under the extended warranty(61K). My weather stripping on the B pillar front driver side was damaged/gouged. The service manager claims it's from wear and tear from the seat belt release. Is this true? I was thinking the stripping was damaged during instrument cluster installation or during prep.

Has anyone experienced damage to there vehicle while getting repairs from an Audi dealer? I have been going back and forth with the service manager and Audi consumer advocate. They are claiming normal wear and tear on the scratches and gouged/damaged weather strip on the B pillar(front drivers side). It looks like it was damaged/scratched while the vehicle was being cleaned or a tech could have rubbed hard against it while working on the vehicle. Would appreciate advice here.
