So after going through some testing (That tube idea was great) I belive my issue is my turbo's wastegate. Would the sound I described make sence? SOunds like a bycicle, only happens when im not acceleraing, louder when im coming down from accelerating?

So whats the cheapest place to get a replacement wastegate for a K03 and if its not worth it whats the cheapest place to get a K04?

Yeah there could be a problem there that would tick (rotating parts and all), but I know nothing about turbos.
Hopefully someone else reads this.

 

Yup hopefully someone knowledgable or even better someone with a wastegate problem that can definetly confirm this for me =)

 

I know a one way clutch in an automatic makes that noise but you cant hear it in the cabin let alone outside the car

Ok just incase someone does a search and has a similar sound. My issue was that my K03 turbo's valve on the inside was loose and would rattle when the valve was supposed to be closed. This is why it only did it when I was not on the gas. I fixed it by upgrading my turbo to a K04. Hope this helps someone in the future. =)
