Default What???

Just asking for a lil help. Can any one tell me how an Air/fuel ratio gauge displays when everything is working fine?? Meaning what happens. Does it stay at optimal on idle and move only a lil when the speed paddle is pressed?? Or does is bounce around or what happens under different amount of speed paddle being pressed??? Any helpplease

If it is working properly the gauge will constantly be jumping around unless your in the throttle and than it should stay right around a particular area such as lean or rich.

Oh ok. Thanx for that and my one is jumping a lil on idle at optimal but it drops all the way to rich when the paddle is down. Does that mean the cars running rich ???
