Default Changing Power Steering Fluid

Looking through recent posts, I didn't find anything about how to best change power steering fluid. When cold (below 32) it makes some loud humming or buzzing sound. The fluid is foaming quite a bit. is my pump fine, if the buzzing stops when engine is warm? I will use pentosin fluid. what the best way to properly flush the system and replace the fluid?

any input is highly appreciated!!

loosen/remove the outlet line, start the car and turn the wheels to lock. Fill and repeat till all the old fluid is out. Make sure you have plenty of rags. If the fluid is foamy it might be a leak somewhere. Check for leaks during the flush.

if its foamy then you have air getting in.. so there is a leak somewhere

I used a turkey baster to remove as much fluid from the resivour as I can then refill with new stuff... Drive around for a day or more then do the same thing over and over till I used the whole can... Yea' its not the "proper" way to do it but it worked for me, the pump is quieter and the car turns a lot easier...

so you think the pump is fine? if there might be an air leak.... wouldn't the fluid leak out, rather than air in?
