no more then 500.00 and 500.00 is really pushing it
i would like somehting around 300 but am i dreaming

300 is plenty.get this amp and you'll never need another one.i've had mine for bout 5 years now and it pushes my 2 12" alpine type r's insanely hard

it is better to run a 2 ohm load but 3 will work if you would like the brand new orion i got ill let it go for 250 plus shipping

with my background in electronics i would recomend a zapco amp man. i run one in my 99,5 a4 and it works great. ive been workin for a stereao company in seattle for awhile and sell a lot of zapco

i still recommend the fosgate amp. you can wire it to 2ohms and it will be fine. and if you decide to get that Type R in the future both can be wired to 1ohm and it will sound sick
2ohms is not an opition with a dual 3ohm sub his opitions are 3ohms (parrell)or 6ohms (series) that is what makes findind a amp so though is the odd ohm load of the sub

i met that he has a dual 6 ohms sub so his opition are 3ohm (parrell) and 12ohm (series)
