I'm new to all this Audi stuff and I have a couple of questions.

1- How much boost/bar can my turbo take before it blows up? What is safe?
2- Do I have to worry about my 6spd manual with extra hp mods? What can it handle?
3- What is a DV?

16 psi max, dont´t worry about 6spd it handle about 270hp with stock parts, i dont know what is DV, maibe digital video !!!!

 

Is that a steady 16psi or a 16psi spike?

 

It can take more than 16psi when spiking.

 

spike, if want your turbo for a long time use

 

DV = Diverter Valve
Just like the BOV it takes the extra boost off the turbo during deceleration or downshifting so you dont **** your turbo up with pressure that has nowhere to go. Difference is, BOV just sends the boost out, just wasting the boost, where the DV sends the boost to the airbox to be reusued during acceleration again

 

What does a DV cost?

 

about 120 dollars

 

or 20 to 40$, buy a 710n, its what alot of us use and works very well.

 

Where do I go to buy one of those? Is the install pretty easy?
