What is this car worth..thanks
I have a track ready 1997 Audi A4 Quattro. It has Bilstein Sport shocks, Hotkis Sway bars, etein race springs.New lower front control arms.Hawk blue pads for the track. Short throw shfter, Custom K24 turbo with tubular header, 2.5in custom mandrel exhaust, Custom Liguid air intercooler that works great on the track or street, 38mm wastegate, Upsolute tuning with SMT6 piggyback for adjustability. Only running 14lbs of boost, should be around 275hp. The car has really nice red paint and black interior that is also very nice. Has 17in BBS RS6 wheels (think that is right, are off some special A6) and nice tires, also have a spare set of 16 factory wheels that have a set of hoosiers mounted on them, would like to keep tires though, negotiable. Have done tune up, timing belt service and reseal of engine. Also there is a lightweight flywheel and stage 2 clutch.Wideband O2 system with pod gauges for boost and A/F.Car has 126k on it but no signs of this, no rust. I drive everyday, light clutch, good ride, perfect except I am ready to change cars. I have only had it on the track once, Lowes Motorspeedway were it was quite fast and I run in the instructor group. It does not have a cat as SC does not require one, fitting one should be relatively easy. Want to know what I should ask for the car as Ihave no idea. Please help. Thanks for your time. I will post pics later today, all the pics I have are too large to post.
i always viewed upgrades (both home and car) as personal. did you enjoy them? good, you spent alotta $ and most likely won't see it again. as a buyer i'm questioning long term reliability on a higher mileage, relatively highly modified and thus much less reliable, car. more performance means less tolerance for problems. you've gotta find a very specific buyer that appreciates what you've done, has the cash, and isn't concerned that in 6 months they may screw up everything you worked so hard to get just right. that said, its worth what someone will pay, and good luck.
