Default what is the difference

what is the difference between a497 and a400?
also what is the life expentency for 1.8t engine ? 160,000?

97 has a different trim pieces inside, diferent headlights, tails, and is n-dbw, 00 is dbw and has the 1pc headlights, updated tails, different stereo setup. Af far as life expectancy of 160k, it has been well maintained, than it should run for a long time, but gotta realize when mileage is that high something can just decide to fail with no warning.

whai is a dbw? can u put same healights and tailights an both cars? convert one into other? hows the reability on those cars iam planing an upgrading theanx i apreciate all your help

DBW=Drive by wire; which basically means that the computer controls the throttle body
You can put the updated headlights and tailights in but you will need to do some modification to make them fit.
