You can return the chip back to stock? Did not know that? Is there anything "special" I need to get for that?

Which DV would you guys recommend for the best price/performance ratio?

I'd love to get some coilcovers I'd also like to get a body kit, but that is way too expensive unless someone can point me in a direction.

I realize you are 16 and new to the Audi world but you will realize that $1000 might not get a decent set of coil-overs and def. not a body kit. Its a harsh realization i had to make from driving a honda, but the extra cost is worth it.

As for the chip, APR has a nice chip and if you get the "Flip Key" upgrade you can change the car back to stock settings very very easily. For my 97 I just need to play with the cruise buttons a little.

Does revo offer any of these type of "on the fly switches?"

REVO + neuspeed are right in my backyard while an APR dealer is like 40 miles away.

 

Congrats on the new Audio your gonna have to post Pics and show us what u got and after you tint it and such. i wish i had 1k to p[lay with on my car but ive gotten buy with the free Mods you may wnat to look into doing that. CC mod debadge paited lowers if tis not done already etc

im on the same thing as u i got 1g too, i got new lights, i di a diy mod and blacked out my grill ..i got a black on black a4 and i just got black housed head and tail lights, now i wanna get a chip or an exhaust

 

99a4Q1.8t, suspension as i was told will cost you upwards of 1000 dollars, as for the brakes, a decent set should put you over 4000 dollars. soa chipsounds like a better idea. best bang for the buck, or so im told.

also jcll...dont limit yourself to soley partsthat are manufactured near you... order them online and take them to a custom shop. Or do it yourself for some real fun (and a little aggravation).

 

skip all that mess and just buy a k04. then save up for the software. Or you could doate to Bacon Bait thats always a good idea too

Chipping a car will not void any warrenty. But if something happens to your car and the dealership says that the issued occured because of the chip they can choose not to fix it.
