what do you guys think?
i have an 01 a4 and with ebony pearl paint....... when i bought the thing, the hood had a nice crease in it and it looks like they just touched it up, not fixed.......
he is what i am thinking, till i can get a new hood or cf hood...... take and sand down the bad spot to bare metal, bondo it and then just spray the sucker flat black and sand the rest of the hood to match
or do that and sand the whole car to a flat looking color.....
but keep this in mind, i am not looking for a show/race car right now, buti don't wanna be ricer

Noooo, don't give it a matte look, that'd be ugly! You'd look like TheRussian (no offence!)
It's not worth it if you're getting a new CF hood soon. Personally, I wouldn't really bother. It's too much time invested into fixing a hood that's going to be swapped out sooner or later.

later is the key word.... and if i fix it up, then i can find someone and sell it to them, say someone that wrecked their car and looking for a cheap fix
and trust me the reason i haven't done it yet, is i don't wanna "look" like someone else...... that is why i am asking for advice

depends on how bad the damage looks. if its barely noticable i wouldn't bother. definitely dont paint the whole car a flat color, or any rattlecan job. if your gona paint the hood black for a temporary time until you get a new one than i think the car would have to have other black accents on it as well to look good.
picture would help w decision!
dont go matte...but you could strip, bondo, sand smooth and then duplicolor, clearcoat and wesand and it could prolly look pretty professional....
