Default What does this code mean?

I took the car to autozone today and they had this to tell me

P0116
has determined that the input from the engine coolant temperature sensor changed too little or too much for currnt engine operating conditions

your coolant temperature sensor is fucked, you need a new one, that would cause the shitty starting you talked about in the other post

because the car thinks its the wrong temperature, trust me it will do it, the sensor says hey car your cold you need to have more fuel to run and the car says hey no I’m not I’m warm what the hell are you talking about lil coolant temp sensor, and then the temp sensor is all well take that bitch and gives the motor the wrong amount of fuel causing it to sputter and die on occasion, it can also work the other way to if the sensor is saying hey your hot but the motors all nu-uh I’m cold and it gives it to little fuel and the poor lil motor dies

Dude, the part is like $5 here:

http://www.carpartswholesale.com/sto...l=A4%20QUATTRO

If its not it, at least you only spent $5 and narrowed down what potentially could be wrong.
