what do you need to replace on an 98 a4 1.8t when you get to 150,000 miles? how much would each cost and aproximently at what miles do u need to replace it?

errr thats a broad quesiton - a lot of things can go bad ...

but timing belt at 80k i guess again at 150k

Use synthetic engine oil or you'll sludge it up.

Control arms are located in front left & right side. Common problem on AUDIS. These need to be changed out a kit on ebay is liek 400 bucks + labor unless u have tools.

i dont have an audi. I really want one but with all these problems i just dont know. i know this is kind of a stupid question to ask here ubt what would be a good fast car to get for around 8 grand?

 

this question is asked about every car make on the road please don't categorize the Audi as a bad car because I could mention a few high brand names that would shock you (Audi is a high brand name as well just thought id mention that) check the service history if it ain't got one then start one

 

there are common problems on every car .... even your run of the mill hyundai has problems - audis get sh*t cuz it costs more to fix cuz of parts and labor ... if u want a cheap car go get a new toyota yaris
