That is not the problem I guess, it's how much it will lower the car is the question.

 

If you have the right springs for your car which I don't beleive are the same as the S4 it should lower it down a 1/ 2 to 3/4 inch if you have the Audi sports package.I just took off my race springs today and put Neuspeed sport springs on with my Bilsteins. It raised the rear up about 1.25 it was about 2.75 of a drop with race springs it was to bumpy to drive every day for me.So for you the right H&R's would lower your car and give it about 30% stiffer ride. The H&R's where my first choice but I got a deal on used Neuspeed springs there 1.5 F -1.5 R.

 

yeah - exactly what this forum says - they will "physically" fit on your car but will not give you the result you are looking for

hmm...this makes me wonder if i ended up getting h&r sport spring for an s4 instead of an a4. I but them on my car with kyb struts and MAYBE lowered my car 1/4". needless to say im not impressed at all, but now i am going to go back to where i got them from and make damn sure they got me the right ones.

 

Try to take a peek in the wheel well and see if you can see the part number. That will tell you everything.
