how do the pistons compress in those when it's time t change the pads, can you do it yourself?

About 1600 dollars. And I have no idea about the pistons, the pads just popped right in there without me having to mess with them.

I'd post pics, but it's dark, my car is dirty, and there's a weird clunk coming from the passenger side. Gotta figure that out before school tomorrow. [:@]

 

So the clunking was actually the weights that are attacehd to balance the wheel rubbing on the caliper every time they came around. The caliper didn't get scratched, but the weight strip will never be the same.

So here they are on the car.







I have not formally bedded the pads nor bled the rear calipers, which may be the reason for that weird, kinda discomforting ring around the rotors.

Nevertheless, the car still stops, and the pedal feels good.

 

those are sweet. I bet when u getting everything done and all that the car will stop so fast./ If i was u i would have gone for some ceramic pads. haha

 

Try this, it should remove that unsightly ring-around-the-rotor, and get you back to showin' up punks in ricers in no time!

And apg, I got Hawk HPS pads. They're nice. When I go kick their *** and bed them, they'll be fine.
