What has four pistons, is bright red, and costs a lot of money?
Flyboy, take solace in the fact that the bolt, the devil bolt on the wheelbearing housing that holds in my old, bad control arms and keeps me from putting in the new, nice ones? It still won't come out. That bolt is kicking my *** and having a good chuckle about it.
Yeah, pretty smooth. I kinda suck, so it took a while (5 hours) but whatever. There's about 250$ in labor I don't have to ask the bank to lend me.

Nice brakes, thats what i plan on getting, i actually need brakes right now, but i need a clutch more so maybe next month. BTW thoses are boxster 4 piston calipers.
ORIGINAL: Yuikio
I have not formally bedded the pads nor bled the rear calipers, which may be the reason for that weird, kinda discomforting ring around the rotors.
Nevertheless, the car still stops, and the pedal feels good.

To me it looks like your calipers are too small for the rotors as they are touching only 70~75% of the rotor.
Yuikio, nice set up, did you install the stainless steel brake lines? I have the same ECS 2-piece rotors up front but ECS did not have the rear application, so I went with zimmerman x-drilled slotted with Hawk pads. My rotors had that same ring, but after 3 weeks it disappeared. I would encourage the use of the stainless steel lines, they make a huge difference!! How do they sound when braking? Most x-drilled/slotted rotors are a lil noisy, not loud but noticeable.
But they work very well. Looks good!
