Hey guys,

I was interested in getting a set of coilovers for my B5 and was lucky to come across a used set by H&R for AU$950 (US$675). Thats a good price as they're about US$2k new in Australia!

I was just wondering what there was to look out for in used coilovers? I've heard that after time they need to be revalved.. is this always certain for coilovers after they've done a certain amount of miles? Is it expensive? Also, would there be any other probs. with used coilvers?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would find out how long they were used for, and get pics, or if you can see them in person even better. Make sure the threading is not damaged or anything. Other than that, they are the best CO's for our cars and work great. I'm looking at a used set too.
