Besides less lag on the turbo what else can i expect when I put it on? Also will this trip any warning lights or service light after installed? I have one to go in it and want to know what to expect afterwards. Thanks for any input you can give.

 

I'm guessing you have the 2.0T? Um well in the B5's you have to change the spots of the O2 sensors if you dont it will throw codes. I think you might be one of the first 07's to do this. what did you pay for you Downpipes?

 

Your correct I have a 2007 2.0T sorry I omitted that. I believe I have the B7 though. How would I know for sure though?Got ahead of myself there. I have 2 o2 sensors on the cat. On the downpipe there are 2 bungs where the o2 sensors will go. I was wondering if it still may throw a code or not. I have heard about a 20 horse increase. I am thinking more realistically 10 horse. Not unless that cat is way restrictive. But from what I can see this cat is bigger than most. I paid a total of 102 dollars with shipping on ebay. and it is 2.75 inches on the turbo end and 2.5 inches at the other. This is my first MOD and the next thing I want to do is the computer. My A4 has 15,000 miles on it and it is to new to start ripping in to things, for now any ways.

you have no lag. you will gain 10-15hp and ~25 tq in spots of the powerband, but max hp won't change much. you will smell gas a bit more, you will throw a code unless you get APR's tp file, or do the non-fouler or angle block mod. and yeah the stock cat is a beast.

 

u mean test pipe rite, and theres some chip companys that can by pass that cel for u when u buy their performance chip

I do plan on getting the APR computer. May just wait until I get it to put in the test pipe.
